HR Policy and Procedure Development:
Develop, implement, and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with the school’s values, legal requirements, and industry best practices
Ensure that HR policies are effectively communicated to all staff members
Recruitment and Staffing:
Coordinate the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and checking references
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and create strategies for attracting and retaining talented educators and support staff
Employee Onboarding and Orientation:
Plan and oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and introductions to the school’s culture and expectations
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, and work to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and a culture of respect and inclusivity
Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance appraisal processes, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees
Identify opportunities for professional development and training to enhance employee skills and growth
Compensation and Benefits:
Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards
Regularly review and benchmark compensation packages to attract and retain top talent
Legal Compliance:
Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and other relevant legal requirements related to employment
Ensure the school’s HR practices are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records
Prepare and analyze HR-related reports for management as needed
