Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Procure aircraft parts and components from approved vendors
2. Analyze pricing information for aircraft materials and components to identify opportunities and trends for cost savings
3. Prepare cost estimates for aircraft parts and components, taking into account factors such as other related costs.
4. Ensure conformity with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and financial constraints
5. Evaluate historical pricing information, market conditions, and bids from suppliers in order to make informed pricing decisions
6. Ensure that cost estimates are consistent with budgetary constraints
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, aviation management, or a related field
2. Proven experience in pricing analysis, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the aerospace or aviation industry
3. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
