As a Lead Front End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of iCrossing software developers building innovative and immersive consumer-facing websites on an enterprise content management system (CMS). You’ll be successful by leveraging your leadership skills and technical front end development expertise to build these websites on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS. You will be leading the technical implementation of the experience design, and will work closely with your clients, their design agency, and other IT partners involved.

What you’ll do
• Lead an application development project team comprised of onshore and offshore developers using Scrum ceremonies and methodologies.
• Lead ongoing development and maintenance activities, including leading all code reviews. You will guide the team on best practices.
• Manage your team and ensure completion of coding assignments on time. Ensure quality of deliverables and system level documentation.
• Report to and collaborate with a Director of Technical Architecture for solution design.
• Work with Technical Managers to assign work, estimate project specific work, and ensures the timeliness/quality of deliverables and make sure all appropriate parties are informed of tech team status and issues.
• Be the Technical Lead and participate in all Scrum processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives.
• Ensure your knowledge of technology and tools are current.
• Develop front end code for highly visible marketing and eCommerce Websites.

Who you are
• 6+ years of experience building websites.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS (SASS/Less) and JavaScript.
• Worked with modern web development practices including implementing responsive design and mobile first layouts.
• Experienced with JavaScript libraries such as React or Angular.
• Understand Node-based workflow and build systems such as Webpack.
• Adept GIT and best practices for version control across distributed teams, as well as multilingual website development.
• Knowledgeable of working with git and shells in a terminal on a daily basis.
• Skilled at setting your local development environment tooling and deploying code to a remote server environment.
• Skilled at troubleshooting issues with code and environments, helping your team members resolve roadblocks.
