We are Persist Ventures hiring for one of our portfolio companies (https://persistventures.com/all-projects/web3) – Socialverse is working to build the Roblox/Minecraft of social media and help save the world by creating healthy social media algorithms & is seeking a full-stack developer to join our remote team. The developer will contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable, modular code, help in building internal pipelines, and must have demonstrated the ability to lead others.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Architect and implement complex systems to handle high throughput and ensure optimal performance
2. Implement database optimizations, sharding, partitioning, and other strategies to enhance system performance
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
4. Experience with microservices architecture
5. Write and test product or system development code, ensuring maximum performance, quality, and responsiveness

Who can apply:

1. Proficiency in PHP, Symfony, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SASS, Tailwind, SSR, Node.js, Express, AWS (EC2, Lambda, Amplify, SQS, SNS), Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
