JOB DESCRIPTION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (“Must have” Qualifications)
• 3-5 years’ experience writing at a tech company, marketing agency, or related experience
• Experience writing top-performing email copy that drives strong engagement
• Portfolio that showcases excellence in email copywriting, as well as a clean and polished style
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing, creative writing, or a related field

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/SYSTEM EXPERIENCE: (“Nice to have Qualifications”)
• Fierce curiosity and ability to quickly understand and then distill complex concepts and technologies into compelling email copy
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and to adjust to shifts in timelines, deadlines, budgets, and project goals
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and in a cross-functional fast-paced team environment
• Experience with other types of short-form content, such as site copy, landing page copy, and social media copy, to serve as a backup for the go-to-market brand writer.
