About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective database designs and data models
2. Assess user requirements and create and manage databases accordingly
3. Contribute to research efforts and actively participate in populating and maintaining the database
4. Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, governance, and management processes
5. Write and debug complex SQL queries and stored procedures
6. Assist in media strategy, measurement, and optimization efforts with a particular emphasis on marketing mix modeling (MMMs)
7. Partner with internal teams to drive advanced analytics work, including experimentation, measurement, and modeling
8. Design, build, and manage secure ETL processes for data integrity
9. Implement data integration and migration strategies for accurate data transfer
10. Analyze data to identify patterns and trends with a focus on marketing data.
11. Develop and maintain documentation for data models, schemas, ER models, and flows
12. Safeguard organizational data through robust security measures
13. Conduct database structure modifications and thorough testing
14. Regularly maintain databases, including permissions and access control

2. Expertise in data modeling tools, database management systems (e.g., Postgresql, MySQL), and data integration technologies

3. Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices

4. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and technologies

5. Proficient understanding of data architecture

6. Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and tools including Power BI (or any other reporting tool for data visualization and analysis)

7. Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)

8. Proficiency in using and managing Google Sheets or Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization

9. Experience in managing marketing data, with a focus on digital marketing data pipelines, would be a plus

10. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

11. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

12. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related discipline (preferred but not required)

13. Prior experience in data analysis, data management, or data architecture (preferred but not required)

14. Preferable Skills Python & Django

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 3.8 – 5.2 LPA

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed component: 80%

2. Variable component: 15%

3. Other incentives: 5%
