About the internship
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Accurately transcribe and annotate telephonic speech data in languages, following project-specific guidelines and requirements.
2. Review and correct transcriptions to ensure high quality and consistency in the dataset.
3. Collaborate with other interns and team members to discuss challenges, share knowledge, and seek assistance when needed.
4. Participate in training sessions and quality assurance processes to enhance your transcription skills and ensure adherence to project guidelines.
5. Maintain strict data privacy and security practices while working with sensitive information.
6. Provide feedback on project guidelines and annotation tools to help improve the overall quality and efficiency of the transcription solution.
7. Meet project deadlines and expectations for the timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

1. Native or near-native proficiency in languages.
2. Strong understanding of languages, grammar, vocabulary, and phonetics, as well as familiarity with regional accents and dialects.
3. Prior experience in transcription, annotation, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
7. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using online tools and software.
8. A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
